CROSSBASKET CASTLE WEDDING, GLASGOW WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

IF YOU’RE PLANNING A CROSSBASKET CASTLE WEDDING, YOU’LL LOVE THIS WEDDING FOR INSPIRATION!

You need to check out Loren and Jed’s Crossbasket Castle Wedding, which is a hotel in East Kilbride with stunning grounds. It was a beautiful day and the sun shone all day long! I had never been to Crossbasket Castle before but boy it did not dissapoint one bit!!

We could not recommend Kirsty more! She was incredible, professional, fun, caring, understanding, thoughtful and a whole lot more.

I met Loren and Jed through one of my best friends and she seriously scored some friend points when I realised how amazing Loren and Jed were, well that is after a grilling for a meeting (thanks Jed – apparently thats how Loren knew I was the one for them – because I didn’t cry with all Jed’s questions) You can never be too careful when picking suppliers so I was happy we found each other.

Why have a Crossbasket Castle Wedding?

Crossbasket Castle has a really laid-back vibe, and is one of the nicest places to get married in East Kilbride. The venue offers amazing views, food and staff – there are so many beautiful spots that are perfect for photos around the grounds.

Loren and Jed – The wedding

The ceremony was a humanist service in a beautiful spacious room. During the ceremony they had a beautiful reading. It was really emotional and a few tears were shed. (Obviously by me – every single time)

They decorated the area with beautiful details, which I loved. The reception was in the main hall at Crossbasket Castle – I love this venue because it has so many great opportunities for portraits there are so many nooks and crannies . Weddings at Crossbasket Castle are amazing, and I just want to keep coming back over and over again!

After the ceremony

The couple had drinks and canapes in the afternoon, and a live band in the evening. For dinner they had a slap up meal, and the first dance involved the wedding party getting on the dancefloor to get the dancing going. They finished off the evening with a ceilidh.

The couple

Loren wore a absolutely beautiful lacy dress and Jed wore an amazing grey kilt and they looked really incredible. Loren’s dress was to die for I was obsessed with the detail in the back.

Loren and Jed said they wanted a photographer who would be like a guest and fit effortlessly into the day, and I loved that that was the aim for them. I really felt like I was family all day, every single person made me feel so at home and I hope they all enjoyed my crap jokes! 🙂
