Fun, relaxed wedding photography in Scotland
FOR COUPLES WHO PREFER EXPERIENCES OVER THINGS
If you’re looking for a wedding photographer who’s chilled like a mate, makes you feel at ease, and captures all the wee moments you may miss out on when you’re focused on other things, then I’m your girl!
With me, you’ll never feel awkward in front of the camera and I’ll never make you do things that make you feel uncomfortable (who wants that on their wedding day?).
Hi! I’m
Kirsty
I have a daughter called Caragh – she’s hilarious and winds my partner up which I take great joy in participating in. We also have a 11 year old yellow lab and a 1 year old fox red cockapoo.

How to survive wedding group shots
What group shots to have at your wedding? As a...
my approach
My photography style is relaxed, natural, fun, and real. I’m really good at making people feel at ease too, so if you’re awkward in front of the camera, you don’t have to worry about that with me.
On the wedding day I’m pretty energetic, and like to get along with everyone. While I love taking candid shots, I also think group photos are important to have – but rather than let it take hours I turn into and army general! I get them done efficiently but keep them nice and relaxed. I might even wind a few people up to get some laughing shots.
I also love doing couples portraits – they’re always the ones that get framed! I use silly games and prompts to get you moving and interacting with each other so you pretty much forget I’m there.
I love a bit of banter, especially because it helps put your guests at ease with me – plus it means I can give as good as I get when the drinks start flowing! This makes your photos really fun and relaxed because everyone’s pretty chilled around me and just sees me as one of them.

KIND WORDS

“Kirsty really takes the time to get to know you; how you met, how you are as a couple, insecurities, weird facts… the lot! Knowing that she care this much before the wedding totally makes you feel secure in the knowledge that as much care will go into your photographs.”
